DBI/SALA 8530621 FlexiGuard EMU Jib Base - Counterweight
The FlexiGuard EMU Engineered Modular Unit is designed for easy adjustment and maximizing flexibility without sacrificing safety. The lightweight system allows for easy mobility around the jobsite with a pallet jack or forklift. With three adjustable height models and one fixed height version plus three mounting options, there is a configuration to fit virtually any need. All systems are rated for one person use and provide 360° mobility within the safe working radius from the Glide 360 Rail anchor point. These systems are OSHA compliant. DBI-SALA has created a proven process for developing unique solutions. Whether it’s an existing or modified product, or an entirely new design, FlexiGuard always meets the requirements of your specific application. Each custom solution is driven by our customers’ needs and is dependent on the industry, environment and specific design constraints, including government standards. We also have numerous pre-engineered systems that may be a perfect solution to your fall protection challenge. Counterweight base for EMU jib
- Designed to bolt and secure with concrete anchors, providing an anchor point base for the jib.
Add your own concrete for 5,000 lbs. (2,268 kg) total weight
- Steel box with fork lift pockets and approximately 1 yard of concrete provides a non-penetrating counterweight style base for the jib mast.
Base is placed on flat surface
- Sits on a flat surface where frequent fall protection is required providing a temporary installed jib base to an existing structure.
Corrosion resistant powder coated finish
- Powder coating offers corrosion resistance and durability to stand-up to facility environments, providing added longevity.
High strength steel construction
- Offers a compatible anchor point for EMU jib masts and is perfectly matched for easy set-up and use.
360 degree jib mast rotation
- Designed to allow installed jib mast to rotate freely for maximum flexibility and freedom of movement.
Temporary installation with forklift
- Install with equipment found in most facilities reducing time and cost of set-up.
Permanent bases for concrete/steel are also available
- Various base styles are available to suit your facility requirements.
